The Kingdom of Heaven  /  God

"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near.
Repent and believe the good news!"  Mk 115 Math 32

From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."  Math 417

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  Math 53  Lu 620

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  Math 510

Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.  Math 519,20

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of  heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  Math 721

I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.  Math 811

As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.'  Math 107

I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.  From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.  Math 1111,12  Lu 728

But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.  Math 1228

"The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, 'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'  Lu 810  Math 1311  Mk 411

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."  Math 1619

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.  Math 181-4

For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it."  Math 1912

But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."  Lu 1816,17  Math 1914

Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!" The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."  Mk 1023-25  Math 1921,24  Lu 1824,25

"Which of the two did what his father wanted?" "The first," they answered. Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. ... Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.  Math 2131,43

Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.  Math 2313

And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power."  Mk 91  Lu 927

And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,  Mk 947

When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."  Mk 1014,15

When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.  Mk 1234

"I tell you the truth, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God."  Mk 1425

I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he."  Lu 728

After this, Jesus travelled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him,  Lu 81

And he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.  Lu 92

But the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.  Lu 911

Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God."  Lu 960

Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God."  Lu 962

Heal the sick who are there and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you.' But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say, 'Even the dust of your town that sticks to our feet we wipe off against you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God is near.'  Lu 109,10

But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you.  Lu 1120

"There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God.  Lu 1328,29

When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, "Blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God."  Lu 1415

"The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.  Lu 1616

Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."  Lu 1720,21

"I tell you the truth," Jesus said to them, "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God.  Lu 1829

While they were listening to this, he went on to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once.  Lu 1911

Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.  Lu 2131

For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfilment in the kingdom of God."  After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, "Take this and divide it among you. For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."  Lu 2216-18

Who had not consented to their decision and action. He came from the Judean town of Arimathea and he was waiting for the kingdom of God.  Lu 2351

In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. ... I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.  Jn 33,5

Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.  Act 2831

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,  Ro 1417

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.  1 Co 420

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.  1Co 69,10

I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.  1Co 1550

And envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.  Gal 521
